GANReach Prospect Intelligence - Extension Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Information the extension processes
LinkedIn and Sales Navigator profile processing is used to identify the professional person or company currently shown, detect stable changes such as current employer/job title/company details, connect that entity with the signed-in user's GANReach lists or campaigns, and request disclosed GANReach enrichment/background processing.
The extension may process the following information when required to provide its stated purpose:
- GANReach account and authentication state needed to connect the extension to the signed-in user's GANReach account.
- Professional and company information visible on supported pages, such as name, job title, company, business location, company website/domain, profile/company URL, employment information and company attributes.
- Business contact intelligence returned by GANReach, such as work email, business phone, company intelligence, matching status, verification state and confidence information.
- Extension settings and limited local caches needed for continuity, deduplication, matching, performance and user preferences.
Auto Enrichment
Auto Enrichment is enabled by default after the user completes the extension's one-time disclosure. It processes supported prospect/company pages for the core GANReach intelligence workflow. Users can turn Auto Enrichment off at any time in the extension. Turning it off stops silent automatic capture; manual capture remains available.
Optional Business Research
Business Research is separate from core Auto Enrichment and is enabled by default as a GANReach feature. Chrome history access does not begin automatically: Chrome asks the user to grant the separate optional history permission before any history metadata can be read. The feature may review up to
14 days of browser-history metadata locally to derive a limited set of B2B technology/research signals.
The extension stores only derived signals needed for this feature and may synchronize those signals to
GANReach for recommendations. Users can pause the feature, clear derived research signals, and revoke
Chrome history access. Server-side Business Research settings currently use a 30-day retention window.
Real-time enrichment providers
For real-time professional contact enrichment, GANReach may send the supported business profile URL and limited business identity/context needed for the lookup to a configured enrichment provider such as ContactOut. Provider results are used to return professional contact intelligence to the GANReach user and may be retained as source-attributed GANReach enrichment evidence. GANReach does not send Chrome browsing history to the real-time contact provider for this purpose.
How information is used
Information processed by the extension is used to provide or improve the extension's stated B2B prospect/company intelligence purpose, including matching existing GANReach records, enrichment, standardization, duplicate prevention, validation, requested saves/actions, security, reliability and supporting account operation.
Data sharing and advertising
GANReach does not use extension-collected browser activity or authentication information for personalized, retargeted or interest-based advertising. Such information is not sold or transferred to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers. Data is disclosed only when necessary to provide the GANReach service, protect the service against fraud or abuse, comply with law, or as otherwise permitted by the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.
Security
The extension communicates with GANReach using HTTPS. Authentication information must be kept confidential and is not intentionally exposed in public pages or logs.
User control
- Auto Enrichment can be switched off in the extension.
- Optional Business Research is enabled by default as a product feature and can be disabled independently at any time.
- Business Research history access remains separately permissioned by Chrome and does not start until the user grants the optional
historypermission. - Derived Business Research signals can be cleared from the extension.
- Users may disconnect the GANReach account from the extension.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Chrome extension APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. GANReach limits extension-collected data to the disclosed single purpose and related operational purposes.
Third-party websites
GANReach users are responsible for using the extension in accordance with applicable law and the terms, permissions and restrictions of the websites and data sources they access. Chrome Web Store availability does not itself grant permission from third-party websites.
Changes
If the extension introduces materially different data practices, GANReach will update this policy and provide the disclosures required by applicable Chrome Web Store policy before the changed practice begins.
